Unable to load either version

Could just be I'm missing something, or have forgotten to try something to get the games to work, but for some reason, both Volume 1 and 2 WILL NOT load on my PC.

I click the Play button in Steam, it acts like the game has pulled up, and then a short time later, it goes back to being a Play button. No error messages are popping up, it just will not load the games.

I'm at a loss for what could potentially fix this, and there is nothing online about this. I've tried verifying the game files multiple times. I've tried running as administrator. I've tried going into the local files and running the .exe there. I have tried updating my graphics drivers. Nothing will get these games to launch. The only thing I have not tried yet is restarting the computer to see if that will somehow miraculously fix it.

Any suggestions for how to get this to run?

Sounds like the problem I’m having with Capcom Arcade Stadium. Unfortunately it seems like it doesn’t agree with the hardware in your PC. I know this cos Arcade Stadium doesn’t work on my PC the same way but it works perfectly on my Steam Deck

i would try shutting down ur pc then uninstall and reinstall and double check that no other programs are running that could conflict with it and then try to launch it again. when launching just try once and wait a bit to see if it actually runs or not. only other thing i can think of is if u have messed with ur pc's graphics settings maybe set back to default then try again.

Did you ever find a fix for this? I brought it on sale recently and ran into the same problem you did. Wind up getting a refund.

Has anyone found a solution to this issue? Just bought the game and the same thing happens to me... I am trying to fix this issue before refunding it... Nothing seems to work.

Update: Problem Solved - Workaround found -

My problem was resolved by the following way. I don't have an anti-virus, instead I used to have windows defender, because of work, I started using a Sensor - Corporate level anti-virus, sadly, for some reason, this affected not only this game, but other apps, Same thing happened with other apps, it doesn't open, no errors, nothing.

This anti-virus, I am unaware if it has any way to by-pass or enter exclusions for internal and exclusive applications, nevertheless, my workaround was to deactivate the sensor and fall back to the Windows Defender. Still trying to find a way for the sensor to by pass or exclude apps, including this one before installing it again.
