So... Yet another failed Annihilation game?

I've been following Industrial Annihilation for a long time - as a fan of both Factorio and the original Total Annihilation, I couldn't pass up on such game. And to be honest, it looked great and promising - until I watched a couple of EA reviews and videos. Now, I am convinced this product is a scam. However...

Is it really? Or is there still some fuss going on about it somewhere? I wanted to visit the Discord server, but the link on the store page is no longer valid. All of the social media accounts seem to be dead since 2024.

So... Is there ANYTHING the devs have said since the release? Are there any dev updates at all? Any thoughts about the state of the game? Something at all? I refuse to acknowledge that such a game is as a pure and blatant scam - I really hope there is something behind all that mess.

There was minor patch put out in April this year but there hasn't been ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stated publicly for several months.

I'm leaning towards a scam also with how undercooked this Early Access is. You can't even call it being in an Alpha state with no functioning enemy AI, almost no tech tree, and incomplete game mechanics.

I was also interested in the idea of the game given how many hours I put into factory games and RTS.
