I get PA was also super early Alpha, but this was not the right choice for IA
Why release so early? Its like there is no internal testing to catch the most basic of bugs and start off with the most simple of features. We are glorified beta testers that have to pay 30$ for the opportunity. Definitely should have held off longer and need a solid beta to recoup some of that reputation rather than push something out so insanely early.

If you make people pay for a product, it is justified that you will be completely open to harsh criticism

Well PA was as you said also super early and it got it flak for it as well, especially because of the high price point that then got lowered the more development progressed.

And looking at how this release is going it seems this team hasn't learned anything and are making the same mistakes as their other games. Which is not a great look for the future of this game either.

Yeah this is more like an alpha… early Alpha. I refunded, but I’m going to keep an eye on it see where goes.

They didn't get flak for the early alpha release, the flak was almost entirely from tiering price opposite to what the norm was on steam which was just copied from the crowdfunding. Entirely manufactured situation they didn't deserve that nonsense.
