HINT 1: build wind gens to get the forges working in the center and add a snapsync to get some gears going so you can build more wind gens
HINT 2: you need tons of power so get as many carbon power gens online as you can afford as fast as you can to offset all the production you are now unlocking as you start to expand the power network. soon you will have all the factories going
HINT 3: to win the scenario you just need to kill the commander, not wipe the entire base, however, you need grease to make more artillery units so you will need to get sulfer and silicon feeding into a chemlab to make some yellow grease. now feed shells into your artillery with a belt and its boom boom time. Once this is done you can move up and build new shield gens to protect yourself while you get the next line of artillery up. Once the enemy artillery is down you can wipe the enemy commander with ease.
the thing I found that was a bit wonky with the artillery was getting it to just open up on enemy targets that were clearly in range. I think some of it had to do with line of sight and lack of radar that normally would help the artillery target things? However, once in a while the artillery would launch a shell WAY past its range which made me think something is just not quite finished up/broken with artillery.
