I've been running linux as my only OS for years now and generally most games either work fine in proton or they fail miserably. There are very few in the middle. From the (very) little I know, it doesn't take much effort from developers to move games from the second to the first category.
My guess is it's unlikely, but you never know. I think one of the guys has a soft spot for macs.
Will it be supported by Steam Proton (compatibility layer) at least?
I have a Linux OS laptop for travel and Steamdeck.
Edit: Forgot to mention that I support the Kickstarter campaign.
Just make sure it runs fine on proton at this point.
