Marauders

can there please be an update to this game that makes it playable?
used to really like this game but now that ive come back i cant play raider mode cause there is never anyone playing it and i rarely find a player in a match in general.

Id like to save this game as any other so i suggest maybe downing the price of the game. so its more appealing to new people. and also make it so the game launches after 3m waiting. so you could be alone in the match or with 2 others or with 5 you wont know. but playing now is abysmal. im EU launching the game in the middle of the day and there is 20 people currently ingame... id personally like it to be changed into a Co op PvE game with an optional PvP mode. cause lets be real. a PvP game with little to no players is 100% dead in the water. but a PvE game with option PvP can always pull in people whenever. cause you wouldnt have to rely there being players in the game. i already find it fairly enjoyable to play without players so maybe if i a little focus went into keeping PvE interesting this game could still be alive for a while. but it being PvP focussed and being low marketing it most likely will end very soon.

Let me know what you think? what would be the best step forward?

As said i like the premise of the game so would be a shame if all this work went to nothing but maybe also make it a bit more friendly on new players? the bots are a bit too botty if you ask me.

I don't wanna be mean, but I'm gonna be honest.
Your post here is just another one on the pile of the "PvE/Coop Mode" threads. The devs set from the get go that a PvE or single player mode isn't planned and haven't moved from that position for the 2+ years the game has been in EA. So no chance there.

For the price reducing it would definitely make more people pick it up, but that would require a lot of paperwork between SIG, Team17 and SIG and it wouldn't change the core problems of the game those being vets lobby stomping new players, the lack of meaningful longterm progression and all the other in-game systems that are underdeveloped or just straight up placeholders. So I don't see them taking action there either.

One thing where SIG accommodated the players though is the player minimum to start a match. According to their community management the minimum of crews to start a match got reduced from 6 to 2-3 crews. So at least finding a match got easier.
Ain't the solution to all the game's problems but it's at least something.

Edit: The last part isn't confirmed by SIG. It's just an observation from the community managers.

I'm sure the publisher screwing them over for a year wasn't planned either. Things change
