A competent and quite replayable souls-like with an interesting premise and solid combat design, along with something like 200 pieces of armor and weapons to discover and upgrade. The story contains a few bits of decent humor as well, but don't let video reviews (or any written reviews either) fool you: this is not a "funny" game. It has funny BITS, but if you're looking for a game with a story that will make you laugh, play something else, like Portal, Stanley Parable, the South Park games, Untitled Goose Game, etc. Also contains lots and lots and LOTS of references to other games. Lots.

If you're a fan of souls-like titles (I'm honestly not), you could do far worse than this one. That said, I don't really have the patience for this genre of repetitive "batsu" games that are brutally difficult if you don't have the patience to memorize monster's attack frames and whatnot, so I started cheating about 8 hours into it. Made it a lot more fun for me, and still relatively challenging, which is fine. I've got other ♥♥♥♥ to do. 20 hours in this type of game is more than I would usually spend.

Well worth the play through, Hilarious and Challenging. Map seems to be very Large and there are multiple classes and multiple play styles. The multiplayer is a little buggy but well worth the Jank. 10/10 "hee hee I can take it"

While I enjoyed this the co-op isn't the most stable or bug free and the end areas are tedious to go threw.
