Just to clarify, does it still happen only for the fighters purchased after the update?
Thanks.
2 or 3 days ago I started to continue an old savegame ( I think 2 or 3 patches old, if not more ). My Company was at lvl 3 and I was using medium fighters ( Zephyr ). At first I kept playing at the threatlevel 1 system until I got a full squadron of Gryphons and so far, they still worked great. Than I tried the threatlevel 2 system and my Gryphons got obliterated so I replaced them with Bullfrogs and the Bullfrogs worked well. I kept using only frigates for some time. I think it was after I cleared the first Conquest map ( at company level 6, iirc, at least with Vultures, possibly even with a Caiman ) that I tried switching to a mixed fleet of frigates and fighters ( Gryphons ) and thats when I saw that the fighters started spinning. Taking direct control worked, but only for direct control. They started spinning again as soon as I gave control back to the AI. I tried switching the Gryphons to Bullfrogs and they didn't work either
Full Gryphons / Ares squadrons no longer worked - despite working earlier.
Full Bullfrog squadrons no longer worked - despute working earlier.
Only Vultures and up worked.
So I would guess its either playtime or progress on the map / research tree that causes problem and not just the updating to the current version ( as it worked at first ).
looks good; a quick test with Ares & Bullfrogs works perfectly fine
