Yes, just bought and installed the game.
No, just bought and installed the game.
I have not played the game yet, on account of it not opening. Nevermind installing mods...
No ,I dont have any mods installed. and I try verifing the game files and installed the game again but it started and nothing happened.
Being able to alt-tab implies that there is something to alt-tab from. I don't get that far.
As for the OP, I've seen this happen especially in Windows 11 if you have several displays connected. I'd also suggest seeing if there's a .ldat file in your game's save folder, located in appdata/roaming, and deleting it. That's the game's graphics settings file and it's possible it defaulted to settings that don't work on your display.
If that's not the issue, the only thing I can suggest is properly reinstalling the game. The latest update caused me visual glitches before I reinstalled, so these things do happen. If you want to try to reinstall, make sure you completely delete the game's installation folder, then uninstall via Steam, then if you want to be sure the installation succeeds, just leave the computer alone while it downloads. My bad install was because I was forced to restart the computer in middle of installing, so it reduces that risk.
