The game is and always has been fun. The communities seemingly have interwoven into a large steam-based groupchat that pings when a game is starting, seeing as you have probably 30-40 unique players actively engaged with it on the reg tops. Don't be discouraged if there aren't many people on when you look, the game is worth the waiting for the chatter to pick up again.
