Any tip for getting the game to fully load?

Major bug I've noticed on several of the Jewel Match titles: Finish the last puzzle in the main line, then go to the bonus 'quests' but don't start playing one, and quit the game. Restarting the game and trying to start the bonus puzzles opens an empty scene with no buildings, hangs the game and requires the task manager to shut the program. I have a DELL widescreen monitor but the option to choose widescreen in the settings is greyed out and not available. Using full screen fills the whole screen but the gaming window looks like 1080. How do I select the widescreen option please?

anybody tried this with a touchscreen pc (ie ms surface etc)?

I destroyed the two stars with arrow power-ups, I freed all of the ghosts, and I made all of the matches that I possibly could. The level does not end. There are no matches that can be made at this point. I have to exit instead of finishing the level. I tried saving a power-up until the end and then using the hammer - still the level does not end....
