If you like witty dialogue à la Night in the Woods combined with a cute, mushroom-core aesthetic, this is the game for you. It has an amazing OST[failpositive.ffm.to] and some of the best level design I've ever seen in an indie platformer.

Cute and Cozy exploration platformer.

Smushi Come Home is an absolute delight to play. You can tell this was made by someone who really loves mushrooms and nature :) Lots of smiles to be had in this one!

The game is sweet, carried by charming writing and an easy platforming experience. I found myself invested in each new little quest I discovered. Basic problem solving and obstacle courses left me feeling super satisfied.

This is the first game i have ever 100% (and i've played a Lot of games). Granted, thats not insanely hard, it's not intended to be the most challenging game. HOWEVER, its a beautiful and entertaining one! the story is cute, the world and models are adorable, and the dialogue is genuinely funny. This is officially one of my favorites, perfect for cozy gamers and mushroom lovers. i mean, it's got mushroom facts! real mushroom facts!!! I'm very excited for what this developer has in store.

This game was an adorable treat. I recommend it wholeheartedly as a wonderful game for all ages. It oozes quality; the graphics are gorgeous, the character's controls are tight and fun to engage with, there's just enough mystery to keep even the most perspicacious secret-searchers occupied for a few hours. While I wasn't at any point truly challenged, I can see the challenge that exists and recognize it would be an excellent learning tool and story of struggle and growth for a newer gamer, or for their first 3D-platformer. For me, it was relaxing and cute, and there were plenty of classic gamer-incentives that scratched my dopamine receptors as I wandered around the incredibly well-crafted open world collecting loot and talking to npc's, solving problems and uncovering secrets.

If you want an easy/comfy experience or are a parent with younger gamers, this game would be an unflinching recommendation. I just walked away from an incredibly satisfying 5-hour All-Achievements playthrough and enjoyed it immensely.

I really appreciate the limits of this game in the sense that it's tight, it's well-structured, and it's tremendously polished. It's well done. I am looking forward to the next game!
