I know the base game is stupid easy with the free unlimited healing and all, but I feel like hard mode takes it a little too far in the other direction. I think 2 lives is too few for how steep the difficulty spike is, and having to replay the entire level is obnoxious, the boss fights being as long as they are is punishment enough without tacking on an extra 2-4 minutes going back through the stage. The main games themselves are good, but whoever decided to make the DLC cost more than the actual game needs some talking to. Thats just a greedy practice. If you want the games to sell more, then what you actually need is better marketing. Thats what will actually make more money in the long run, not overpriced DLC. Since this series is a spinoff, it doesn't need to be exactly like the GV series. This game, iX 2, makes things slightly more like the MMZ series by adding in the Quick Razor and nerfing your mobility in favor of better level design.
