Looks like no more patches are coming, and while the game is playable, it fails to compete with other FPS titles coming out.

The first couple of hours were promising but as I went through the game the level quality decreased and the progression systems seemed less impactful. The gunplay seems to have been improved since launch but it still lacks the dynamic push and pull of the moment to moment action of other retro inspired shooters.

I really wanted to see that it had improved since launch, but I was glad when it was over. I think some of the implemented design decisions are just flawed. There are better options available.
