Based on this Game there should be a new Refund Policy
First of all, I have to say that I was really looking forward to this game. But as always with this company, they dropped the game as soon as it was released. I didn't find out until after I bought the game.
And of course the deadline for returns has passed.

That's why I feel like I've been really ripped off by this company.
I think I'm not the only one who thinks like that.

That's why there should finally be an addition to the Steam guidelines that as soon as a publisher refuses to finish the game, it should be possible to return it. This game and Grave are games that I would like to play, but I find this unfinished crap hard to bear. What I want to know from you now is that imaginary thinking or is my request just logical and an understandable reaction to this rip-off that's going on here on Steam.

I've been at the point now where I don't pre-order anything for years because my trust has completely disappeared. At the moment I don't even have the confidence to buy a game on day one and then snap it up months later during a sale.

You have to minimize your losses somehow.
And I find it sad because Steam is actually a really good platform. Where the customer is king. But parasites like that just drag Steam through the mud and that's really annoying.

Technically it is finished. So kinda hard for any policy to enforce something since what you define as finished could be anything. No policy is going to give you more then a month to refund. GOG gives you a month regardless of hours played compared to steam, but no return policy will ever go over a month at best.

Anytime i buy a game and i find bugs and quality issues, I return it and then let the devs decide if they will fix it or not. I returned DBZ sparking Zero due to performance issues, i played games that are far more technically and ran better. DBZ was locked to 60 by default and had massive dips at times.

The current refund policy is fine, the issue is, you guys put so much faith in somone fixing the problem. The demo showed how bad the game was and people still fell for it. 2hrs is enough to figure out the issues, return the game in masses within that period and maybe devs will start fixing stuff prior.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
