Anything I should know before diving into this?
I've beaten Phantom Brave if that helps, but I want to know about anything important before I dive in this game on Feb. 1st.

Not much tbh. This game is a lot simpler than Phantom Brave.

There are some exploits related to quick leveling, but they aren't very meaningful for a first run.

But let's see...

Play Main Campaign first. Leave Petta Mode for later.

The entirety of the main campaign is played with Generics.

At post-game, you can unlock unique characters. They're pretty strong, but not necessarily a strict upgrade over generics.

During post-game, when reincarnating generics, make sure to reincarnate them as multiple different classes to get all sorts of good passives that give stat growth bonuses.

During post-game, to grind levels quickly, there is something called a "Food Dungeon". I honestly don't understand them that well and never used them, but they're great farming spots (you need to be level 100+ to create a Food Dungeon though). I think you needed to be holding a food when making the dungeon to access those, I forget... In any case, to use them efficiently, you need to use Chefs to feed high TEC food to both your attacker and your enemies to get a bunch of exp multipliers... I think you should google this one a bit more yourself to get a better explanation, but that's the gist of it.

I think those are the keypoints. The rest is just playing the game and having fun~

Academy is a very useful building you probably want ASAP. The problem is the price that keep getting higher when you level up.

A solution to that is to create a hut for cheap. It will kill you but then you can create a cheap lvl1 academy that will give +50% EXP.

Creating huts is also a cheaper way to reincarnate your characters. If you have some items with double stars you can make your team OP relatively early.

If you aim for 100% achievements then don't sell your tanks. You need one of each and it's the hardest achievement of them all.

You can also sort your items/weapons. It's not obvious how to do it.
