Finnish Cottage Simulator is, as the title suggests, a Finnish cottage simulator. You find yourself as a newly retired man named Seppo on a quiet lake in the year 2004. You have to share your property with mosquitoes, bears and moose, in no particular order. The classic way is to do everything yourself. It starts with moving the sh*t pile and ends with chopping wood for your sauna. Your neighbours need your help, in exchange for things and money, of course. You can hunt bear and elk, and fish in the lake. There is also a shop in the area, which you should visit during the game, as you won't get far without petrol. Now for the gameplay. The controls can be a little fiddly at times, and you need to have a sure instinct when it comes to putting things down, otherwise everything will learn to fly. In my opinion, objects such as chopped wood could be highlighted to make it easier to find them in the grass. The game is great fun if you like this kind of humour (the songs and radio interviews are hilarious). There is no doubt that you will have a great time playing this simulation game.
