Closing the game just makes you start over, In an idle game that's pretty messed up if you need to do it in one run. Can you please fix this?

Has anyone used the Reset Talents button on the big crystal? I wanted to swap points from Wheat to Bread, but it didn't return any gemstones back. Is it a bug or by design?
