Revision? Gaiden? Are they different?
Hi, I heard good things about Astlibra and so I searched it up, but there are like 3 options (or 2 and soemthing else shrug). Revision is this one, and everyone is saying good things, but there is also Gaiden?

Are they different? Is one better than the other?

Love this kinda game just wanna get the best version.

Astlibra Revision is the main game (basically an improved version of the original game), Gaiden is a kind of DLC with another protagonist but it is set in the same world with a different but similar perspective and gameplay.
If you want to approach the game, I recommend starting the main game first and then dedicating yourself to Gaiden later to avoid spoilers on the story.

Awesome, I missed the dlc tag, and also the third one is a demo, which I guess I will try before buying. Trying to decide between getting the game and dlc together (it's not much more that way), or maybe getting this and chained echos as it has good reviews and that is the largest over all discount.

I'll get it one way or another. I think the savings is better getting it now with chain of echos and then I can just get the DLC later if I want.

I don't know if the bundle is still available but I got both games together.. they are both fantastic, highly recommended.
The Astlibra Revision demo is a mix of mechanics with a pinch of story of the main game, you'd do well to try it to get an idea. :)

You need the main game to get the DLC
