Deep Sea Fishing
I can't figure out how to control the depth on deep sea fishing. I didn't seem to get a tutorial on how this works. Anyone got any advice?

These are the last fish I need to get. I've only gotten 50 depth fish at this point

We are having the same problem. I have searched for an answer, but cannot seem to find one on the depth control.

You just left click. Use Q to choose your fishing rod, then left click to throw out the line. Then left click again to stop it from sinking when the counter hits the depth you wanna fish at.

Just reinstalled the game and jumped in to double check since it's been a while, but it works just fine for me still.

Any ideas how this works on controller? Cause it just keeps pulling my line up when I click

Late to the party, but for future people seeking answer:

You need to assign left/right mouse click in Steam controller settings to actual buttons, like L1/R1 respectively. You also do not need to use triggers anymore for other fishing activities since it works just like with triggers when holding a button.

My guess is that triggers behaves like "constantly clicking" instead of button being held, hence it immitiadely pulls line up on setting weight depth.

I will double check the behaviour with controllers, currently the game only has dedicated support for xbox controllers.

if you manage to stop at a depth before 50m is the number displayed correctly or does the .0m stay at the end and the actual decimal fraction is displayed in a lower row?
