add a small probability of mothers death and or the childs. especially if the mother has the sickly trait.

This will not happen, I know it's a little unrealistic but there was a lengthy discussion in discord and consensus is that players don't want their clanfolk just falling over dead and infant mortality can cause emotional trauma for some people.

Yes. I don't recall the exact percentage chance but it's quite low.
