Any chance of non-tank controls?
I never really got used to tank controls and have a hard time playing games with them, any chance for this to get implemented?

I think it would be really difficult to change the control scheme, due to how the camera is fixed in place. If you'd like to suggest a viable and different control scheme, I'm sure your ideas are open to be heard. Can't promise you much more than that.

What ever the hell those controls is, are not tank control. Holy sh*t the movement is cancer. Played this for <5 minutes before alt-f4. Horrible.
Tank Control are real easy (Though quite different form follow camera).
Forward is forward, down is down, left is left, right is right. This game smh.
Forward and backward is mostly that, but the left right is spin in place and them random direction will be forward or back. WTF

Wonder htf you are to spin around pressing Forward on stick, holding B(or X) and then press D-Down at the same time. WHAT

Not sure what you're talking about. Spinning in place is literally what the "tank" in "tank controls" refers to. The game's controls are exactly what tanks controls are and always have been like. There's also nothing random about forward/backwards, you simpoly press forwards for forwards or backwards for backwards.

If you honestly feel like this controls noticably different from similar games with tank controls, I suspect your controller might be broken or something like that. It's really just standard tank controls.

This isn't proper tank controls. First off they don't work on D-pad, on a bog standard Xbox X/S controller, only on Stick. And stick is impossible to press 100% dead straight ergo you spin around and walk forward or backward randomly when trying to move in either direction.

I have played a lot of "tank control" games, all of them controlled better than this. Incl. the weird adventure games of past, like Grim Fandango.

I mean, the D-Pad in general seems to work quite well, wouldn't say it's not tank controls because of that just because it doesn't work on your particular controller, which is, of course, an issue that should get fixed, but the term tank controls does not refer to the D-Pad anyways, but to turning clock- and counterclockwise with right and left regardless of how you input right and left. (Sorry I'm so pedantic about this.) Still don't understand what you mean about randomly walking forward or backwards ... I play using the stick, mostly, and have no such problems. It's really just, well, tank controls. As I said, I suspect it's not the game but your controller that's giving you trouble.

I think the real problem with the controls in the demo is that the turn rate is too high. You can just tap the left or right buttons and your character pivots like a full 45 degrees. If you go back and play older games with tank controls, the turning was more gradual. It took holding down the button for a second or so before your character full turned into a new direction.

Do people really don't know the difference between tank controls and the alternate control scheme? In Resident Evil Remake there was an option to switch between those two and it's also available in "Them and Us". Also, that's not a fixed camera, it's like Silent Hill's camera, where it follows the player's movement, which I've always preferred.
