Can't Get Volcano to be "Fully Explored"

I've fully explored the volcano but it still isn't counting in my "Explore the Island" quest. Is there a secret I am supposed to keep looking for? Or is the location just bugged?

Have you explored to the end of the lil metre then another trip? Sometimes it doesn't count the last tiniest bit until you've done another round, so I'd recommend doing a final lap just to make sure. If you have done that the location might be bugged

Yeah I have several times. Even explored the acid pools
