can't save can't load
I was enjoying a game and then when trying to load it kept crashing. I started a new game and then I cant even save it, crashes. Tried verifying game files and, reinstalling, rebooting my computer...all leads back to cant save game. Any ideas? Was having fun with it!

Is the game installed in C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86)? You might need to install it elsewhere, or give yourself full control over the SE5 folder using the Windows file permissions settings.

so strange, now it freezes during turn resolution....just tried to run it for one turn to see if i can save but cant even play it for one turn. It was working at some point on my laptop but after downloading balance mod the save game feature stopped working, uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times and have full admin access to the folder.

You might have to add some empty directories if you don't have them. I'm not sure offhand what they are but there should be instructions around here on that... can't seem to paste a screenshot of my folder here!

No. You can add new folders if you are missing one of the ones listed.
