The official version of the Balance Mod v125 has been posted.

This is the first release in the new v125+ series and is a major update for the mod. Some of the major changes include the addition of a new Interdimensional racial trait, changes to unit sizing and launching, new weapon sounds, new asteroids and a variety of new components and facilities.

A quick note on unit launching if you haven't played any of the test releases. You'll need to add both launchers (which only launch) and cargo bays (store units). The removal of storage from the launchers means you have a lot more flexibility to launch faster (more launchers, fewer cargo bays) or carry more units but launch slower (more cargo bays, fewer launchers). Also note Freighters can no longer launch fighters/drones.

This is intended to be the last series for the Balance Mod. There won't be any new additions to the mod in terms of the data files, but AI and graphic updates will continue.

If you have saved games created with any the Gamma test series, you can continue those games. If you are starting a new game, you won't be able to use saved game setups or saved empire files due to a changes after the gamma release. You'll need to make new ones.
