RENAMING - Space Empires IV De-Luxe

I have played Space Empire V for years and I can rename planets and ships.

Is there anyway I can do this with IV De-Luxe?

If so can anyone please give step by step details of how to do it.
I have searched the Discussions but can't find anything.

To re-name planets or ships you have a) own them and b) use the re-name order to bring up the re-name dialog box. I believe the shortcut key is 'n' when the object is selected.
