It's impossible for me to find anyone, especially in an Australian timezone and with low ping. It'd keep the game alive at least a little longer even if the bots are crappy.

in the create screen there should be a button that adds 1 bot (it can be pressed multiple times until the server is full) this would help since then you can play with friends and bots while also still being able to play without bots And by adding bots, we can actually play the game because all the servers are empty :(...

Sniper just outclasses every gun. I think to make it more balanced by making it only have 3 shots so you can't kill everyone with it.
