Well the ammo can be Scarce at some places, where there are few pots to drop from.
And the RNG for dropping big ammo needs to be on your side.
But , if you passed trought first boss ( SET ) .
You can any time visit this map (bcs there are no enemies anymore to deal with)
And pick up FullAmmo (or even FullHeath).
Other thing is, if you are on Low Heath, bellow 200Hp (That's full 1 Bar)
Pods will drop more HP that ammo.

Set Arena gets devoid of enemies and you can just waltz in to restore everything? Sure wish I knew that earlier.

And now I know that HP drops are more common when below 200 HP so it's not all RNG.

generally i start every map full from the 2nd mission that has easy access to full hp and full ammo adn then u can easily hop to a camel, also having more weps and circulating with them helps a lot, i found out that the whole ammo thing is based around knowing the location of full ammo orbs, use all weps and replenish with it, its little harder until u find some weps, cuz the pistol is useless and ull be with machine guy for a while

Using the sword on spiders and birds saves a ton of ammo (I'm very early game though on Pharaoh difficulty)

Yep I ran out of ammo before I could even finish the tutorial area. I conserved as much as I could. The game is badly balanced and relies on getting RNG ammo drops. I bet most people leaving positive reviews are playing on the easiest difficulty.

The entry map on Pharoh is suppose to be difficult and tight on ammo.
As to introduce you into the sh*t you gonna experience in upcomming levels.

You need to think, and save your ammo.
Picking up ammo drops for the weapons you need.

Once pass the first level, you have Full ammo in second map.
- Later on, the Set Arena is best place to refill your ammo and health at any time.

- The Hard and Pharaoh are unofficial difficulties, not presented in Original PS1 or SegaSaturn.
