The fact that this game opened was a surprise. I am using a high speed ssd paired with an Ryzen 7 3800x3D and it still took ages to load. I have not experienced such a bad loading time since the old days of HDD gaming on low end laptops.

As expected, no one online to play, but different than expected, there is not even an option to play solo - be it just to roam the map and shoot at the enviroment.

I found this game while studying ECS, unity DOTS, to be precise, it was suggested as an example of game built using DOTS in some random article I read. This gives a bad name to unity's ECS.

But let's not look at this for a while, let's forget all of that and focus on the real reason this game is doomed to failure from lauch: Greed. Not from wanting to be a bigger game than it actually can - for the opposite reason, it was launched as the least game as possible: It has a in-game store and a placeholder for a battlepass.
You are trying to focus on the business side of the game way before delivering a game that is worth to be played. These monetization tatics are predatory and greedy in big names on the market, in this game, it just feels like they did everything they could - to profit, before focusing on a gaming experience.
Feels like I've walked in a cinema, there are no movies to be played, just a functioning popcorn machine, with popcorn that are obviously soggy: You are free to enter, just take thousands of steps in the stair (loading time). Once you get there, please buy our popcorn. We need a full room to play a movie, as you are the only one here, you can hope someone will join you, or maybe not. But!! If you look to the right, that's where we will put the soda machine in the future.

Sounds like someone thinks you are dumb if it happened in a cinema... Wait... Do developers think we are dumb?

The popcorn and soda in good cinemas are already too expensive and predatory, don't expect us to buy your low quality ones.
