Thanks to Akira Yamaoka for helping me to find this game. Essentially, the whole gameplay in this title is just walking and one-button mashing. But the story and the atmosphere are what this is all about.

Set in Paris, this story is about a cabaret dancer and the terrible tragedy that befell her. And in this situation, through emotional instability, she tries to find herself and her inner strength to escape inevitable doom.

I don't really think that Yamaoka's vibe (because I don't really remember his music in other titles except Silent Hill, where he was credited) is really shown here, but overall the OST is good, even memorable at times (Tout dépend de toi is practically the main theme of the title). If the story won't interest you that much or even at all, this game is not for you, because gameplay-wise, other than mini-games, it is nonexistent.

It's very light on the gameplay, mostly just looking around and some light puzzles/memory exercises, but the story is amazing! They really took a lot of time to craft an in-depth psychological breakdown of a woman's worst nightmare coming to life. Even with all the surreal horror elements, it's all so believable? I struggle to recall another game that's handled this kind of story with such sincerity and maturity. Very glad I played it.

What a bleak yet effective and positive outlook on trauma as a whole... without giving too much away. All story and very little to do with gameplay, with some puzzles here and there and QTE Mini-games, overall an experience WELL worth the journey. This had me totally invested and I finished in two sittings, perfect length.You grow to really care about the characters especially you as Gloria, and I found it to be moving. Art direction so on point, I found myself lingering in environments longer than I needed to to soak it all in.

A truly tender and haunting experience with great character development and a ridiculously good soundtrack + additional music from Akria Yamaoka. Which I did NOT know until the credits, but was lingering in my mind throughout my play through.


I got this on sale for $7.49 and gifted it to two close friends of mine who I thought would appreciate it. I would have gladly paid the full $15 3x times knowing how I feel now. Wholesome and fulfilling. I saw one of the top reviews was comparing it to Perfect Blue and Silent Hill and I can see those influences, but this is a unique vision and I truly appreciated what was achieved here. I could see myself replaying in a few years just because its short and sweet.
