Reminds me a bit of the Styx series, maybe in being so dedicated to the stealth core.
Feedback:
-The lighting looks very washed out for me, no matter the brightness setting. Like there is a lack of contrast. HDR would be nice.
-Maybe a sound hint would be good, when light drags you out of shadow-walk.
I had trouble with the jump to a balkony, because I didn´t realise light was touching the edge where you are supposed to land. Of course, once you get it you´ll remember to pay attention to it.
-I´d make the tails/dreads on the character´s hair a bit longer, or grow them in the shadows.
The glow would become more visible, and I simply think it would look better. ;)
-Backstabbing enemies could use a more visceral animation. Feels like gently poking someone with a needle.
-Controller worked really well, thanks !
-Voice Acting is really good. Ayana sounds a bit like a young Claudia Black. ;)
Anyway, just giving my feedback, all in all it´s a great demo.
There was also a part at the tower, if you try to go up the stairs there was some very minor platforming that felt impossible as the character just didn't want to land on the platform and when she did any minor adjustment would send her running off the edge. Luckily I found an alternative shadow path (alternate paths are great but they should all be viable). Animations in general felt so-so with lots of awkward magnetism to the correct location for takedowns.
As I said the concept is neat so i'll keep an eye on it but i'm doubtful i'll pick it up with how the controls generally feel atm.
