Stairs: Bug Report

Is it just me or does everyone have a problem walking up the stairs? I can't walk up but when I crouch I can barely manage to.

I interpreted it is an intentional reduction in speed to mimic someone climbing stairs, but if that is the case it tells me the developer has no idea how fast 14 year-olds can climb a staircase.

At any rate it is not just you.

oh ok XD, maybe it can just be tweaked then, the camera is all shakey too it dosen't really feel on purpose

Yeah it's a coin toss whether or not the dev actually intended it to be this way given how buggy this game is. The only reason I am giving Rayll the benefit of the doubt is because they include a bunch of other things in this game that a hack would include, and I could see a hack thinking to themselves that it's important to (poorly) emulate a stair climb. Things like a hundred different post-process filters, or your game automatically closing upon a jumpscare. Is this 2008? lmao.

It's just frustrating to see a great, simple concept like "what would you do in their shoes?" butchered like this.

i completely agree, I think that if Rayll could fix a few bugs and finish up the other episodes this can be an amazing game (that i'd pay for) They've already got the VHS vibe and the amazing atmosphere it just needs to be a little cleaner
