Crossing my fingers for a super awesome double chaos Archon themed faction being super awesome!
So maybe.
There, a good idea.
Something like empire mode and a vastly improved Pantheon. I couldn't care less about new races right now. While we are at it...why do the devs decided to add ridicolous races like rats, toads, moles for example?
I don't mind adding funny races, but rather that they lack lore to fit into the AoW universe to back them up. The original AoW did this *very* differently.
Giants isn't do until 2nd quarter, and they generally don't reveal much until the DLC is within a month. 2nd quarter is good distance away and hopefully Giants has some new amazing features that are eating up their time.
A third season is coming if the 2nd season goes well is what the devs have said. Buy a second season pass to help achieve a third season.
But if there's some suit counting how successful the second season is *right now* to decide whether or not to fund a third, I hope they take into account the players waiting for more information before they make purchasing decisions.
Shill post yes but I mean after >300 hours of quality enjoyment being stingy in this regards seems pretty petty.
Even if it was theoretically already approved before the final dlc of season 2-(which i think is very unlikely) the devs are probably contracted not to say anything about it yet even if its only possible concepts.
(basically the only thing i think was confirmed is no vampires until season 3 or later)
The devs try to keep everything in house up until they start doing dlc dev streams and have mostly sorted the final release candidate builds ready.
They will probably hint closer to decision time if discussions are happening in regards to another round of dlc.
I would wager we might hear hints once the 2nd content drop is done and they are well on their way with the 3rd. That would be likely when the metrics will go to Paradox and they'll all decide if the current season sold well enough to justify investment in another season after this or if they'll start downsizing to smaller content drops or even shift focus entirely to working on another game.
So basically if you want a 3rd season make sure you've told as many people as possible how amazing the game is t oget as many sales of stuff. Paradox has proven that if a game gets good sales then they are more than happy for it to get content drop after content drop and build up the expansions.
Seriously, sometimes you just need to call a game complete.
