Yes, kind of, though it's not clear whether Falcom did this intentionally or not. If you go to 03:18:30 in the video below, you'll see Estelle and Joshua mention the Erebonian and Republican embassadors.

Joshua mentions Estelle first met these people when "Olivier, Schera and the others were with you". That suggests that Schera was accompanying Estelle during her trip to Grancel in Chapter 3 of Sky SC.
I kinda wish they had used "Zin" instead if "Schera", like so:
It would have been both more correct and unspecific to not canonise the choice.
