Can you still carry over completion data from other games if they've been uninstalled?

All Trails games have Steam's cloud saves to keep when they're uninstalled, but do they have to be re-installed to carry over clear data?

These games are quite memory-expensive for my device, so I tend to uninstall them if I know I won't be playing them for a while. I'll re-install for the clear data if I need to.

Look in: Documents \ Saved Games \ Falcom
ed8, ed8_2, ed8_psv3, ed8_psv4, ed8_psv5 are the folders for the Cold Steel series of games at least (CS1 through 4, + Reverie),
If you have these folders present on your drive, you have the clear data at your disposal.

Otherwise you might be able to get just the savedata from the Steam Cloud:

But you're going to need to do some browsing around, and digging too, to get them out.
(Also I honestly don't even know if that even works anymore these days.)

Thanks! I'll just test it with the Steam Cloud first then try the file if not.
