Why my players don't move towards the ball passed towards them but opposition does?
Doesn't matter if it's against AI or pvp or what playstyle I use they always stand still when I pass the ball to them and the opponent moves towards it.
ALso the aiming seems off with the passing and shooting at times.

Not sure if I suck or the in-match engine is poorly optimized tbh.

It's the script. It happens to everyone. All your passes go to the wrong directions and get intercepted when the system is against you, When the system decides it's your time to win, all your passes go to the right players and through passes get through too.

God, what a terrible way to have the game work if this is really how it works. :lunar2019laughingpig:

It is. I had logged more than thousand hours of this game. I could feel it if the system was against me. The game would be very difficult even against some lower division players. Sometimes, it's just no fun to participle in a game which the system was constantly against my team so it's better to gift the win to the opponent.
The game used to be more skills based when it first launched as efootball2021. Now you couldn't even control your defending positions or player switching because the system would delay the actions of your inputs. Also when the system want your opponents to win, it would position their defenders very close to your players, so that once you made a pass, their defenders were already there to intercept or challenge for the balls, When the system wants you to lose, it would position your defenders so far away from the opponents. So that it was impossible to intercept or challenge for the balls on time.
Also a lot more forced mistakes in the current version. Like you had mentioned, passes went directly to the opponents, or not to the directions we intended to pass. Your inputs were pretty much irrelevant. The game decided when our players became the dumb-asses, and didn't do anything when we needed them to move. All Konami wanted was to cater to the noobs who spend money and buy new cards. It gave them the delusion that they were good when it was mainly because of the ai that played for them.
I can agree. Sometimes the game decides that I have to win, sometimes to loose. It doesn't matter what buttons I press, somehow I will win, or loose. You can play against a lots of guys, who never press any other button than shooting. Their defender just clear tha ball away, and if the game is with them at the moment, the ball will fly to their strikers, who will score. It's as simple as that. The more you spend, the more time you will be on the right side of the s--cked c--ck :)

One of my friends has a paid team. He's spent about 3.000 Euros in the game, and has almost every legendary players. If he plays with the lowest commom players, these are faster than anybody in the game, and all the bouncing balls landed to his players. So it's not about the cards you have, but the amount of money you spent in the game.

I've never spent a penny, and despite i have a lots of great cards, my players are like my grandma. For example: In my last match, the ball rolled on my oppos goal line after a save from his keeper. I tried to score, but my Wayne Rooney (who was within 3 meters from the ball) just stepped backward and backward whatever button I pressed (I pressed the right button, and he stepped left), until one of my oppos AI-controlled defender arrived and cleared.

The most of the times you can easily recignize, that you must to loose. When my striker shoots against the bar, and my oppo just score from the counter, it's the most usual way. But yes, a lots of times you just cannot make a pass, or your players just stand, doesn't matter what buttons you try to press.

The worst, when you got the goal(s) at the end of the match, because if you got it in the first minutes, yuo can save a lots of time if you simple abandon the match
Because all in the game is a cheat...konami style.
