I have been using an 8bit Do controller which is recognized as an Xbox controller and it works just fine.

Same as above, using 8bitdo. I saw another post day after release of someone using an Xbox 1 controller with wireless adapter without luck. I tried my Series X controller and it worked via bluetooth connection. The other person was finally able to use the Xbone 1 controller via mapping the controls for it in Big Picture mode.

Thanks for the replies. CBA to piss about getting a controller to work. The Developers really missed a trick here. I'll pass until his is sorted.

This game needs to have controller support. Please pass this info on to the devs. I was thinking about buying the game but after that I saw it does not support game controllers I might not purchase the game.

I have issues with my Xbox Series X controller. It doesn't recognise it at all. I cannot navigate menus, or do anything else. I can use my keyboard to navigate the loadup screen and launch a game. And I really want to play the old NES version. But when I play it, I am constantly in the crouched position. Weapon swipes are always downward, unless I hold the up arrow! But I cannot even climb ladders, as something is constantly pressing "down".

That's the problem I have, and can't figure out how to change that.

I have two older Logitech wireless controllers (F710, which supports both XInput and DirectInput and Cordless Rumblepad 2, which only supports DirectInput). The F710 works fine in XInput mode. The other controller (and the F710 when put into DI mode) also works, but the button assignment is different and very inconvenient.

Is there a way to remap the layout for DirectInput controllers?
