Windows set to 5.1

My Denon AVR is also set as the default sound device in windows .
It's a bit strange if your other games work fine with 5.1 though .
I don't have my pc connected directly to my receiver (Its only HDMI 2, but tv and pc are hdmi 2.1) though, its via eARC.
Windows needs the speakers configured to the correct audio channels
Thanks for this. I've never had an issue with any game using surround until this port. I will download the app in case I experience this problem again.
dolby apps etc are not needed for 5.1. you do not need the old fix of installing dolby manually and those custom drivers. you need windows to know that the device supports surround. this will "fix" it, but you're not really fixing the issue.
after that ensure you have 5.1 selected in windows.
