I always lose too much speed at the end

I run win 11 on a ryzen 7 5800x and rtx 4070 with 16 gb ddr4 3200 and the game freezes up on the screen that says the game features an autosave system. The loading bar never progresses. This is with the demo by the way.

The "Woof!" achievement is the last one I have left, and I have no idea how I am supposed to get it. The dogs just come in too fast. The hint book says you need to have 2/3 of the dog food left. It also says to ignore one of the bowls, but then you need to perfectly defend the other two, which I haven't been able to come even close to doing. I kinda feel like I'm going crazy because steam says almost half of players have this achievement, so it should easy. Is there some mechanic I am missing here? ...

Hi all, we hope you enjoy the game, I just wanted to mention that today we ran into a major issue with our save game system and had to revert to an earlier version in order to give your a stable build. We're working hard to correct this but please feel free to list any bugs you come across.
