Action RPG or JRPG?
See topic. This probably seems like a dumb question but the store page has it tagged as both and the marketing material isn't explicitly clear.

I know JRPG as meaning sluggish, boring and repetitive turn based fighting.

And,, obviously action doesn't involve any waiting for turns and features fluid and responsive combat.

Is this an ARPG or a JRPG?

I'd say this is more JRPG. While the combat is in real time, you'll still find yourself running around arena while waiting for your pins (attacks) to recharge.

Game also features lots of grind to 100% it and even if you're going to just tackle the story, you'll probably bore out of fighting basically same enemies again and again (some do gets new attacks, but mostly it's just HP/color change).
