Playtest Feedback
I've played around an hour of the playtest, so not everything the game has to offer obviously, but I have a few things I can feed back on.

1. Animations are pretty decent, but there are some actions that don't have animations, so its a bit inconsistent and feels strange when you do something and there's no animation for it. (E.g cleaning gun)

2. Motion blur and chromatic aberration, just no, please no, its like being on an acid trip - I turned them off immediately.

3. UI needs work E.g I loaded the game up and went to options, the resolution was set to 1080p, I upped it to 2k, but there was no Accept/Apply button, so I had no idea if it had worked or not when I went back to the main menu.

4. The red rope objects often appear to be floating in mid air in places, not attached to the walls they're meant to let you climb up.

5. When rappelling down ropes my character seemed to have super human strength, being able to climb down only using the power of his hands and forearms, all the while holding the rest of his body out and away from the rope with no problem at all. Also, i was able to look through my own body when I looked down while rappelling, camera movement needs restricting a bit more during that action.

6. The fight with the triceratops is seriously janky - I was able to sneak round it to the left behind the big rock, run up the hill and then jump onto a ledge. I then shot the triceratops and it didn't react, nor did it take damage, it was like I couldn't trigger the AI for it. I then ran close to it, shot it, triggered its AI and then ran back to the ledge. It didnt know what to do so just stood there. I blasted it until it died - needs work.

7. Need some sort of silent take down mechanic, on the first NPC base I was able to sneak in and stand behind an NPC for at least 10 seconds before they turned round, the whole time I got 0 prompts for a silent take down. I eventually had to shotgun him, alerting the entire base.

8. NPC AI seems a bit lacking, on a few occasions i was able to shoot one of them without the rest noticing, I also found that I could alert them, let them see me, then just walk round a corner and they would be like "Where did he go!" lol.

9. NPC accuracy is a bit crazy, once they see you and start shooting, they're a crack shot, no matter the distance.

10. When I got to the section with the small dinosaurs that you can control with your future pistol, I immediately turned the game off - I thought i was trying to survive on dino island, I don't want futuristic dino controlling laser pistols.

11. Crafting needs some work, I like the backpack layout, reminds me of the forest, which is a good thing. But the notepad with the instructions is a bit lacking on information and could do with fleshing out a bit more.

Overall, the game has some decent mechanics, the graphics and animations are pretty nice, but the game play doesn't match what I was expecting. I thought it would be more open world survival, and definitely without dino controlling laser guns.

Good luck to the dev's, hope they manage to fix it and make the game a success.

Thanks but I'm not that precious, if my post here isn't good enough then that's fine. Thanks.

Not a developer just a gamer. And they do read and respond to steam fourms.

You can also use the in game option.

However not all developers read or respond to steam fourms
