what does "...*ALMOST* integrating all functions needed for TRPG gameplay" mean, please.

Literally, they're aiming to be able to let you play TRPG with just this software, without using pen and paper or excel sheets or anything like that!

For example, dice and character card creation are integrated into the software, maps can be created directly in the game, and messages can be sent directly in the software (so you don't have to open discord)

I see. soooooooooooooo, in effect, could it be described as 'game design software', given you (or a dm) in theory could create an entire campaign with it?

This software is probably not very helpful for "designing games", it is mainly for "playing games", as for designing TRPGs you don't feel you need much help from the software?:p03:
