2025 Happy New Year

Hello dear players,

It has been a while since the last update, and I notice there are many comments in the comment section discussing whether I have abandoned the development of this game, inquiring whether there will be any subsequent updates. It seems necessary for me to publish some content to clarify these matters.

In brief, the remastered version has been under development. I have not stopped working or given up on this game. As you all know, there are many imperfections in the original game. In my previous news (one year ago), I have already stated the reasons for remastering the game. What I want to clarify here is that:

In my plan, the estimated development cycle for the quality and content required for the new game is about 2-3 years. I don't want to offer you just changes in scenes or enhancements of certain content. Instead, I focus on the playability and fun of the game.

Additionally, I noticed that the original game has been in Early Access for quite some time, and I almost forgot about this. Therefore, I’ve decided to end the Early Access for the current version soon to focus on developing the new version, aiming to share it with you as soon as possible.

Once the development reaches an appropriate stage, I will invite you to playtest and experience it. I believe it will be an exciting journey!

Lastly, as a passionate gamer myself, I have embarked on the path of independent game development with the intention of bringing something unique and enjoyable to the table. As an individual developer, I am well aware that I cannot simply imitate the works that have been seen in recent years,they are already excellent in their own right but not aligned with my way.

In conclusion, the quality of the new version can't be achieved in just about one year, so please be patient. Aren’t there plenty of excellent games in the store waiting for you? Go play them, and share any interesting ideas with me~!Hahaha...

Developer Announcement 12.24.2023

Dear friends,

First of all, I would like to apologize for the lack of updates on the game in the second half year . It has been six months since the last update, and I understand that this has been disappointing for many of you.

Despite its shortcomings, the game has received positive feedback from players, which has been my main motivation to keep it updated since its release.

However, I want to shift the focus to some exciting news. This year, Unreal Engine has released several important versions, and after personally experiencing UE5, I was pleasantly surprised by its features. In the second half of this year, I have been continuously studying and researching the technological revolution brought by Unreal Engine 5. As a result, I have made the decision to completely reset “Princess and Blade” using UE5. This reset will not only involve upgrading the game’s visuals, but I will also strive to improve existing flaws and add additional content.

After the reset, the UE5 version will not be sold as a new game. Instead, I will provide updates and upgrades for those who already own the game.

I kindly ask for your understanding and patience. I am just one person, and it is not easy to sustain myself solely through this game.

I hope that everyone will have the opportunity to enjoy more great games in the coming year.

Dear friends, here are the updates for this version:

1、The protagonist’s skins have been reset and beautified.

2、Fixed the bug where the protagonist could move and then get stuck during the purification ritual at the Altar of Revenge.

3、Fixed the bug where some enemies in the Revenge Road would slide when sitting down.

4、Strengthened the attack benefits of the tiger and bear forms. Now, when players successfully counterattack, it will recover some stamina.

5、Fixed the bug where the arrow would remain in the hand when switching weapons in certain situations.

6、Added the feature where the enemy’s health bar will automatically hide when they are too far away from the protagonist.

7、Added playable plot events that can be triggered in every level of Rescue Road. Each event will unlock a new Sword Bestowal skill.

8、Added the feature to use Enhancement Vouchers to increase the maximum enhancement limit of clothing in the enhancement interface.

9、Removed the boss in the Heart Demon level, which was very boring. Also optimized the issue where the Heart Demon could spawn in an unreachable location.

10、Added visual camera movements for actions such as counterattacks and assassinations. Also removed the restriction of not being able to open the camera mode.

11、Fixed the bug where the protagonist’s jaw position would stretch and deform in some events.

Dear cute ladies and gentlemens：

First of all, I wish you a happy Spring Festival. As you can see, "Princess" has evolved from the original version 0.4 to the version 0.9 * * * after nearly a year's evolution. It is about to end its early access and usher in the release of its 1.0 official version. Now I will make a simple announcement about the development route of the official version plan, so that friends who have purchased and have not purchased can have a better understanding. (The contents of the following plans are only those determined by me and do not represent all the contents that may be included in the future)

1: More adjustable options will be added when modifiy the character's appearance, including but not limited to: eye color, some special accessories, and more hairstyles;

2: Design an independent BOSS war for each level of "The road to salvation", and add unique booty for each BOSS;

3: Restore the game fun of free matching clothing (remove the initial attributes of each clothing), and add a special item to improve the range limit of clothing that can be improved;

4: Add a speciel event to every level of "The road to salvation" (spoilers: they may go from light to heavy,but it is not mean you must trigger them to finish the level);

5: Increase dungeons or independent spaces that can be explored in multiple places on "The road of avenge", and increase more types of enemies to enhance the richness of "The road of avenge" adventure;

6: Increase the number of NPC interactions and interactive events on "The road of avenge";

7: Add at least 40 new clothes to make the total number of game clothes reach more than 200;

8: After the purification of the altar on "The road of avenge" is completed, add the stage target completion animation to supplement the integrity of the game;

9: Modify the "sword gift" skills, and they will all become unique "big moves";

10: Add the function of user-defined key;

The above will be the content updates in the 1.0 version of the game. These contents may be gradually added to the game in the following updates according to the workload, and finally presented to you in the form of the official version V1.0.

The contents of this update are as follows:

1: Fix the problem of foot deformation when the protagonist does not wear shoes or flat shoes in the extended event;

2: Improves the light and shadow quality under the highest and second highest picture quality setting of "Road of Revenge", and reduces the performance consumption caused by volume fog;

3: The transmission function is added to the altars on the "Road of revenge". It is directly integrated into the map and does not need to be triggered on the altar;

4: Dexsim and his team have arrived at the TwinLakes Valley. They are stationed on the main road outside the forward castle, but they seem to see something they should not see, and so they are feeling of being left out.

This patch contains the following contents:

1: The range of the altar on the road of revenge is reduced from 12000 yards to 2500 yards when detecting whether there are enemies around when purification;

2: When the protagonist upgrade level, the attribute points obtained for each upgrade are changed from 1 point to 3 points;

3: Added the function of resetting attribute points in the attribute interface;

4: The profit brought by heroic value increased from 4% per point to 8% per point;

Assassination is an action with high risk and high return. It can only be used once to deal with one enemy. In the last update, the benefits of assassination were too low. "Gently stabbing you" is a unique style of play, which should have allowed people who like this action to get more returns. Therefore:

Hello dear players, the content of this update is as follows:

1: Fixed a problem with the character's feet deforming when triggering some events.

2: In the triggering process of some events, the function of whether clothing is displayed is added.

3: A non GROOM particle hairstyle is added to save performance.

4: Fixed the problem that some GROOM particle hair looks bald with sparse head.

5: Improved the enemy's response AI on the road of revenge, and optimized the performance of CPU computing occupied by AI.Redo the visual effect of blood splash when attacking enemies.

6: The original 12 levels of “Road of salvation” were reduced to 10 levels. (The stone falling level is neither profitable nor fun, so it is removed) (Assassination should be a means rather than a game purpose, so the assassination level is removed)

7: The clothing store has added a tab for clothing categories, and the currently selected category identification has been added to all the interfaces where categories can be switched.

8: The sign of currently wearing clothes has been added to the clothing backpack and enhancement interface.

9: The original design of the game was to use different clothes through their appearance attributes. In the previous version, this idea was completely blurred. So now the clothing attributes have been redone and the clothing enhancement function has been moved to the main menu.

10: The main game targets have been added to Revenge Road, and a new area of Revenge Road has also been added. This is a new place of birth. Its main function is to carry many more NPC interactive content now and in the future.

11: In the previous version, the charm system has completely collapsed it lost the significance of various charm combinations. Therefore, the charm system has been redesigned in this upgrade,lets try different combinations to get different game experiences.

12: The main menu tasks information of all maps are changed to a map display, which will provide the identification of enemies and target task points.

13: Modified the allocation method of attribute points after upgrade.

14: In order to strengthen the integrity of the game, an plot show was added when the “Road of salvation” was completed.

15: Some useless skills or skills that may cause serious balance problems have been deleted. In this version, only 5 sword skills have been retained. However, please note that the sword skills are still in the initial stage. In my idea, using sword skills will be closer to the sense of super magic. They may produce huge and cool big actions. At present, only a few small skills can be used.

16: In order to distinguish the use of different attack postures and the game experience it brings, this update has redesigned the attack postures system. Now, the eight postures have completely different effects. (For example, the wolf postures have been changed to long-range attacks,yes,it is a bow, and now the postures system is still not complete. For example, a certain posture should be replaced by an attack using a fist, and the postures should have different assassinations and counterattacks.)

The most important thing is that this update actually includes many NPCs and their interactions, but you can't trigger them in recent few days. I will add updates frequently later to gradually open these NPC interaction content.

Important note: after this update, the original save archive will not be compatible. It is recommended that you may need to save the character appearance data in this path to other place before you launch the new version of game.And replace it after you finish the charactor creat(C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\WSgames\Saved\SaveGames\SaveCharactor1. sav)
