How to use roller blades?

I cant seem to change direction without hitting the wall.

that is weird. You change direction pressing a side direction. For example if you are going right or left, you can only move up or down.

Same thing, if you are going up or down you can only move right or left.

Also, there is a cooldown timer before you can change directions again.

It drifts for a bit, so that's why I added the tutorial, its kinda tricky, you need to time the change it a bit before. But once you get used to it its fun to roll around town.

ps.its ok to touch the wall while jetting, you dont get knocked back.

I checked it again sometime after i made the post, but it seems that it took a long time before you can turn, which is way longer than the track is. In the third dungeon, i need to press up button right from the very far left of the screen and i still even 1 tile off from reaching the top marking. And yes, i'm using keyboard.
Is it bugged in mine or something? I even skipped the last tutorial since i couldnt seem to clear it, hahah.
