I am having a very similar issue on Windows. It gets to the title screen, and starts, but very shortly thereafter, it gives the url to a .wav file that it is trying to load from chloro's website. I went to that url in my browser, and got a 404 error. My presumption is that files critical for the game to run have been deleted from the server hosting them. I have no clue why they thought it was a good idea to host game files in an external server instead of just having the game load them locally.

Seems odd that the update doesnt come packed with the game... Not working for me...
