Way less buggy and there is basically almost double the game now. Still has issues. Still has bugs, but the really annoying once around path finding are much improved.

I mean, look through the patch notes since launch if you really want to know what has changed. If you can't tell the difference then you must have barely played it at launch.

I'm still having a lot of trouble getting pals to do the work I want them to do whether it be due to path finding or priority. Can small pals go through doors and up stairs? Any tips for a returning player on base management?

Insofar as building up your base on levels, I find most of the pals will use them if you put two next to each other and make the opening four total squares, instead of just the two. However, if you do three next to each other and have a nine square opening, then even wampo can use them. You do want to make sure there is at least a couple of square of clearance a the top and bottom of the stairs for the larger guys to make proper turns.

I've never done this, but I've seen and heard others use the roof tiles to make ramps instead of stairs and they say it seems to work better. But my stairs are fine as long I as plan them properly.

Another tip, Alpha Jormens need at least 4 tile high ceilings to properly fit in an enclosure.

the game has been greatly improved, many others say they encounter bugs or stuff but so far i havent found any of the bugs they have mentioned, i have gotten the game day 1 and have been off and on but no bugs or issues, i also play with allot of mods so in a way i should be getting bugs and whatnot but yeah its been fine for me, i would say just play even if you encounter a bug as they are still updating and improving the game
