As a huge fan of empire building games with a combat element, like Star Trek: Birth of the Federation, Star Wars Rebellion, Outpost 2, etc, I'm loving this game. The combat appears to be where it could be most improved, both the aggressiveness of the AI. And improving managing a space battle (never thought I'd see a more simplified version of combat than birth of the federation.)

This is NOT startrek armada, and this game focuses more on the diplomacy and economy management.

A good followup to Birth of the federation.

dead game! abandoned by devs! It is a cash grab and Paradox should be pissed about publishing a game like this! goes to show people only care about fast money and zero substance.

Was enjoying this and hoping that it would be built upon by the developers, sadly they pulled out very quickly and leaving a possible great game to be had. Still play it from time to time so I can scratch my Trekkie itch but feel that it could have been more than what it is. Thankfully the mod community have done a sterling job allowing for a better experience. By it if you like Trek and it's on sale, otherwise avoid.
