Why no macOS version?

Considering the game has been on macOS for quite some time, why isn't there a macOS version on Steam? I'd like to have Steam Cloud support so I can play everywhere

Ugh, that's really unfortunate... I never got far in the Apple Arcade release and now that it's on PC I was going to dive in, but not being able to play on my MBP with the same saves syncing is a big letdown
