How good is the game optimized for lower performance setups?

The game is half price at present - try it to see if your PC can run it OK.
If no good then refund.
You could test a little in offline mode whilst testing game -this extends the refund limit a bit ,whilst you configure settings.

I have a 2021 acer nitro with a 4g graphics card ,but with 16gig system memory.
I think the game runs OK -not stellar but reasonable.

You wont know until you test yourself.
