8-players not working any longer?

I swear I played this with at least 5 players in the past, but it doesn't work anymore.

I tried disabling Steam Input like other games, but then no controllers work.

I tested with 8 Xbox Series controllers wireless.

Hello thanks for reaching out!

When accessing the Steam features to configure controllers, are you able to see the 8 controllers showing up on the Steam Input/Joysticks config?

I am not. It used to show 5+ controllers, but Steam only shows 4 now as of a few weeks before posting.

Someone said in a different thread you have to have at least 4 wired Xbox controllers to make it work, and I've had success with 4 D-Input (PS3/PS4) in the past.
